Remote Online Notarization (RON) allows you to complete an eligible notarization online through a secure audio-video session with a commissioned notary. You can connect with your notary remotely instead of meeting in person.

2. Does Oklahoma allow Remote Online Notarization?

Yes. Oklahoma allows authorized notaries to perform remote online notarizations when the applicable legal and technology requirements are met.

3. How does online notarization work in Oklahoma?

The process is simple. Prepare your document, start your online notarization, verify your identity, connect with M&M's Notary through a secure video session, complete the required signatures and notarization, and receive your completed electronic document.

4. How much does an online notary cost in Oklahoma?

5. Can I use an online notary if I am outside Oklahoma?

Yes. An eligible signer may be physically located outside Oklahoma while connecting online with an Oklahoma remote online notary. The notarization must meet applicable Oklahoma requirements and any requirements associated with the document.

6. Can an Oklahoma notary notarize someone in another state online?

Yes, in eligible circumstances. Remote Online Notarization allows an Oklahoma-authorized notary to conduct the notarization remotely while the signer is located elsewhere. Specific requirements may apply depending on the document and circumstances.

7. What documents can be notarized online?

Depending on the document and applicable requirements, common documents may include powers of attorney, affidavits, sworn statements, acknowledgments, business documents, real estate documents, and other documents requiring notarization.

8. Can a Power of Attorney be notarized online?

A Power of Attorney may be eligible for Remote Online Notarization. However, some POA documents may have additional signing or witness requirements. Make sure your document's requirements are satisfied before your appointment.

9. Can a Will be notarized online?

A Will can have specific execution and witness requirements that are different from simply notarizing a signature. If your Will requires witnesses or other formalities, those requirements must be followed. M&M's Notary does not provide legal advice or prepare wills.

10. Do I need a witness for online notarization?

Some documents require witnesses in addition to a notary. Witness requirements depend on the document and applicable law. If your document requires witnesses, make sure they are available for your appointment or ask about available witness options.

11. What identification do I need for online notarization?

You will generally need a valid government-issued photo ID and must complete the required identity verification process before the notarization.

12. Is Remote Online Notarization the same as a mobile notary?

No. A mobile notary travels to your location to perform the notarization. A Remote Online Notary completes the notarization through an online audio-video session platform, allowing eligible customers to complete the process remotely.
